Thus the Buddha accepted Angulimala into the sangha.
Not long after the king came to the village with soldiers to bring the outlaw Angulimala to justice.
Hearing that the Buddha was in the village, the king went and paid homage.
The Buddha informed the king that one of the monks in the sangha was in fact Anulimala.
So fearsome was Angulimala's reputation that the king became quite alarmed.
The Buddha assured the king that Angulimala had changed his ways. The king was amazed at this transformation and gave his respects to Angulimala.
